I have had some requests from members for a small 3D printable angle gage. These are 58x58mm and about $1.50 in plastic to print. As promised, I just finished designing 2 versions and they are available to anyone interested in making one for yourself. Like all my other designs, these are also free.

2 Versions available, the first version is fully printable as an option but the second version needs a small 608Z bearing and some 3/8 inch slingshot ammo or lead for counterweights.

The protractor ring is rotatable to allow for zero angle reference setting.

Very nice...at the same time, one can buy one of these, (which I've owned for many years), for $10.99 online. Mine has proven quite accurate, confirmed with a Wixey angle finder, and it's ready to use, right out of the package.

Pretty cool, but these are huge! About twice the size of what I want for using with my sharpeners.

Well, they're bigger than the Wixey, I admit, but I used mine successfully for years...sometimes with my Edge Pro, sometimes for freehand. Worked just fine, and still remains on my shop table behind the Wixey.

There may be smaller versions of same or similar, I simply provided this one as an illustration, as I am familiar with it.

(And it was sure easier for me to obtain since I know nothing about 3-D printing and am probably not likely to invest in the technology anytime soon. So, off the shelf is more practical for those of us who are Luddites.)
