I've had this sitting around for a few years since I upgraded to the Versaflo system... these things were a game changer for me!

Anyway, I wanted to do a GAW for knifemakers for what I have on hand. One cool thing I've done to the main unit is to convert it to work with any 12V battery bank power supply! So you don't have to purchase expensive batteries for it!! Even one of the smaller car jump start batteries would work (as long as it has the pin style 12v connector). I'm including 2 pumps w/ belts (these go out from time to time so you will have a backup, you can just convert the wiring over to continue to use it with your 12v battery), 6 new particulate filters, and a breathing tube (compatible with all 3M PAPR masks AFAIK). The only thing I ask is that the winner pays shipping.

Note that you will need to figure out a way to mount the battery and battery converter box to your unit or belt somehow. And for those that don't know these Breathe Easy units work with just about any gas mask cartridge!

The only thing you will need to get this up and running is a mask (I like the 3M M206 or M207 masks but like I said any 3m PAPR one should work) and a battery.

Congrats to Richard338 Richard338 on winning!

*disclaimer: winner assumes all risk in obtaining and using respirator and cartridges (which may be expired)

I have the same unit on a backpack. It is a very good filter. Almost any hood will work, even non-3M ones.

I got it along with a case of disposable hoods for pharmacy workers. I figured I would use the hoods up since they were free, and would wear them while spraying for mosquitos and such around the house or blowing the dust out of the shop. The neighbors gave me some strange looks because I looked like a meth lab worker when wearing one :)

Yep me too 😂 I also mounted mine on a vest carrier (backpack type mount)... More comfortable imo
