I thought I would try and rebuild a 3OT.

Here are the pieces after I took it apart.

This is the back.......I did a bit of file work. Bad lighting in my shop.

This is from my scanner.

The handles are jigged Water Buffalo horn.

I hope you like the pics.

PS_ Codger, I found two different ways these were made. Some had bigger holes in the blade for the pivot others were 3/32". A couple I took apart had a larger hole in the blade and had a sleeve that went inside the pivot hole in the blade. I thought it was interesting. Remind me later & I will post a pic.
Do you know anything about production changes in the blades?

Dale,
You certainly have the gift, my friend. I love all of the different materials you use. Keep 'em coming!

Thanks of the complements everyone.

I am now doing repairs & rebuilds for people. Even making knives for people.
I have enough work in my shop to keep a normal person busy for 2-3 weeks if they worked 40 hours a week at it. But I am not normal :D and due to my disabilities, (and doctor appointments) work much slower.

That reminds me, I have to run. I have a doctor appointment.

BTW Charlie, I finally found the steel for your knives & UPS delivered it this morning. I hope to start on them next week.
