Anybody attend this event? If so would you please share what you saw and learned? Pictures of some of those Scagel knives would be great as well. Thanks.

I was kind of wondering about the same thing Keith. Sava said they had a good time but didn't go into too much detail. I would also like to know how the cutting contest came out. It Sucks Big Time not to be able to go this year. Maybe there will be some that got rested up enough to down load some nice pics for us to look at :). Jerry ought to post something here, you know, get his posts up. :)

Mike Bauer and Jim Crowell were tied for first place which was broken with a man against man 2x4 chop off which Mike won, which was only fitting since we were on his property. Dickie Robinson and John Fitch followed very closely as did a number of others. I am not sure who actually placed third. I can state with a fair amount of certainty that I placed dead last out of the approxamately 15 who entered. This botheres me not one lick since there was such a competative field and I entered with the first knife I have ever made. Anyway everyone who cut did get a nice cap. The demonstrations were great, even better lineup than was posted on the ABS site. If any one has any specific questions I can do my best to answer, if not I will try to add more later as it comes back to me.
