I have recently just became an owner of a Hinder XM-18. I've very happy and very satisfy with the blade. I do have one tiny problem with my knife. The detent on the lock bar seems to not hold the blade in the close position very well. I can literally hold the knife and just flick my wrist and the blade would deploy. It's very cool and fun at first, but the problem comes when I use a flipper. It doesn't always deploy properly, and I'm very certain it's because of the detent not binding to the blade tight enough. From what I've looked at, this seems to be a common thing with the 3rd Gen. Does anyone have a solution to this besides drilling deeper into the blade to deepen the hole where the detent ball goes into and void the warranty? I would love to keep my warranty. I guess I was just a little disappointed that my ZT0560 would flip better than my real Hinderer... or am I one of the selected few who actually experience this?
