3V Cold Steel Master Hunter

Thanks for the awesome video! I have a few of the sama Rada knives as well as some larger ones and the Mora so the comparisons were a big help, especially the blade thickness.

actual content here, to read. More than an imbedded link to a you tube video. Seems like I was pretty clear above.I have no use for you tube videos and have them turned off. I want blade forum content.

I'm the same way. Typing forces people to be concise, most videos consist of people yammering on and on for 10 minutes before they ever use the knife. Grinder, that's not aimed at you, just a general trend I've seen with videos.

Ok I will review the knife in the Mastiff style of conveying ideas. That is, using partial thoughts and incorrect punctuation.

Knife good, comparable to others in size in the kitchen? Worth your money if you like it. :D If you had watched just the first two minutes of the vid you should understand how discouraging it is to only encounter stale criticism of something one has put forth effort to create for purposes of sharing with a community. The feeling is much like knitting someone a sweater for Xmas and having them burn it in front of you because it's the "wrong" color. Empathy is the word I believe.

Ok seriously now, I have noticed the views of my thread are much higher than the views of the vid so thanks for the constructive criticism sodak. I will try to type a competent overview of the knife when I have a enough time so please check back. Thank you.

Normally I think someone that links and posts no other content is either trying to promote their you tube channel or just lazy. I thought, "It's Grinder and he is a regular" so that didn't cross my mind. I asked for content like others do when posting reviews. I honestly didn't think you were the special snowflake type that would get so ....offended. :)

The general idea is support Blade forums with content, or a paid membership. Don't just use this place to steer people to your other favorite places. You should do both honestly and not act so butt hurt when someone calls you for being selfish or lazy. You know, the bitterest truth and the sweetest lie thing?

Thank you to the posters who made the small effort to share encouragement. I'm glad you could find some entertainment/info in the vid.

I agree. I love all the well done reviews on here with lots of pictures and explanations (mistwalker, lostviking to name a few).

Thanks for the video. I enjoyed it. Sometimes it is easier to watch than read. The Cold Steel Master Hunter and Pendlteton Mini Hunter knives in 3V are two that I am really excited about.

I did not know that the Mini was getting the new steel as well. Good to know. I had one in the VG-1 a few years back. It was a handy knife but I lost it wearing it as a neck knife. I have and will NEVER wear another knife upside-down again for this very reason. Also dangerous.

I didn't know the Mini Hunter was getting an upgrade either... really handy little knife.

Thanks for the information. I have been away from anything by Cold Steel for a long time. No reason, just got into other brands. I did however buy a Master Hunter last Christmas as a gift for my son. We both always liked this blade from CS. I just ordered this model. I am looking forward to it coming in!

Thank you guys for the responses, it means a lot. Work has been stressin' me so back to the knives I go. I want to do some more kitchen vids this week.
