Who are some knife makers who excel with 3v,im wanting to get a custom bushcraft/camp knife made thats 1/8 or less and stonewashed?
Thanks

I don't know if they do stone wash

Bark River Knives does a lot in 3v tho

More like semi custom than true custom.

if you are willing to expand your search beyond custom, lt wright does a great job with it as well

Carothers.

@Nathan the Machinist aka Carothers. Delta3v, You probably won't find anything better.

Although I wholeheartedly agree that Nathan's tweaked HT and his interpretation of 3V is in a league of its own, since the OP had stated 1/8 or less, I must say that CPK does not currently offer any knife which is both that thin and also purpose built for bushcraft. In fact, if one is specifically looking for a "bushcraft-camp" knife which is able to throw sparks and things too, Nathan's knives are not built for those purposes.

P.S. Further, if the OP is looking for a full on custom knife for his own purposes, Nathan's custom work books are currently closed with probably a 2-3 year lead time if they happen to open!

I’ve corresponded with him through email. I don’t want to leave it out in the open, but I’ll @Big Chris and he should get a notification and see your post.

Not even semi custom. Its production. They won't make to your specs. Hopefully what you get is actually 3v and the owner is known to be scummy.

OP, I'd look at ShannonSteelLabs ShannonSteelLabs or big chris. My 3v is from cpk and it is the best I've had but custom orders is not what they are doing at this point.

Took the words right out of my mouth. At this point I consider their blade steels maybe might be what they say they are.

Definitely look at Big Chris, good designs and he has earned a good reputation with quality work. The Voyager design really has caught my eye.

If you’re willing to wait a bit, Kevin Smock. I’ve got an SK23 in 3v and it’s amazing! He makes fixed blades too but he fell behind on his orders so there’s a wait. He’s getting caught up but closed his books until he does everyone on his list. Occasionally he puts up some stuff he throws in when he’s getting things heat treated etc.
