Greeting all,
4-11-12 Update--SOG is being donated to a charity event, TRADE PENDING on the Blackjack...
As per usual, I'll let the photos do most of the talking (taking within the last week or so).
For starters, still looking for an appreciative home for my Effingham marked Blackjack 1-7. Classic design, carbon steel fixed blade (IIRC its 1095 steel), stacked leather handle, double brass guard. If you like Randalls, but they're beyond your budget...this is an extremely fine alternative. I'm sure some would probably call it mint, but as I'm super stingy, I'll call it excellent++ unused condition--maybe a smidge of faint handling/fondling, a small faint scuff or two, maybe a couple/few tiny discoloration specks on the blade if you look hard in the right light, and the very slightest couple imperfections to one of the washers (we're talking basically nothing, but in full disclosure...). A little handling wear to the sheath, and a slight nick or two. This is probably the SHARPEST factory knife I've every encountered...it is wicked keen!! Comes with factory brown leather sheath and original box. Would make a great user or Effingham collector. These don't come up in this condition very often...
SOG MAGNADOT (Depend On This). 440A 3.6" SS Combo edge blade, Zytel glass reinforced handle. Comes with nylon pouch, as new/unused tho a few light specks around the thumb studs...nothing significant. Seki Japan model. This is a pretty beefy/stout folder with a really classy SOG blade profile. I also have the original box and card for it, they're in good condition, tho a little mishapen from storage/handling. This has one of the coolest folder blade profiles I think you'll come across. Think SOG Trident in folder form.

I will consider quality trades. I'm mostly interested in a Busse NMSFNO or Team Gemini or possibly a Batac. Higher quality folders (Hinderer, Umnumzaan, Lionsteel, Emerson), decent fixed blades NWA, AA Forge, etc etc etc. A Knife Research Legion is also very high on the list. A Strider GG or MT or MTL with gunner grips is also of interest. A DPX HEST Folder is also of interest. Some $$ might have to change hands based on what ya got.
Feel free to make reasonable offers...the worst I can do is say no thanks, but I'm !not! really looking for multiple lower value knives or generics (Spyderco, Benchmades, etc).
Any trade offer must be in excellent++/LNIB condition.
Requirement: Any traded knife mailed to me must be PROPERLY packaged. That means a proper-sized BOX, bubble wrap, and packing materials. I'm getting tired of receiving high dollar knives with what appears to be a grand total of about 15 seconds of packing effort
