I am mailing a Busse to a great guy in Canada.
Wanted to inform all that they may want to add the $4.39 if recieving payment by PP on "cross the border sales". He nor I had not heard of this so it may be new???

It is not that much and my customer gladly paid for it. I just thought they may be others unaware of this.

Thanks, Kenny

Dirty!!! I got dinged extra for funds from S Korea.
Paypal needs some competition!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Jules, thanks for the link. I looked there and it did not mention the hidden
$4.39"cross the border fee"

See if you can find it there please. Surely they have to list it somewhere instead of sneaking it in when payment is made.

What is a cross-border payment?

A cross-border payment is when the sender and recipient of the payment are located in different countries. There is a cross-border payment fee for Business and Premier account holders receiving payment from someone in a different country.

there very sneaky! I'm going to investigate this further. you have me wondering now.

I REALLY don't like those guys. It looks to me like the extra for Canada/US on $100 is 2.5% for currency exchange plus a dollar something.

Wait till you accept payments from folks across the Atlantic!!! Paypal really likes those fees......Bas-Tards.

i live in canada and i have not heard of this fee. lol mmmmm another way for them to make some cash.

Yah... I'm the one that Kenny is sending the knife to (thanks Kenny!). I've bought tonnes of stuff from the US and never heard of this before... must be a new thing! Unbelievable...
