Hello! Newer to Busse knives and i'm looking into buying my second one. (TGLB on the way).
I would like to get something around 4 inches for EDC. Right now I am thinking Boss Street or Meaner Street.
Its going to get alot of use with rope, zip ties, cloth, cardboard, and other material.
I really like the Meaner Street but will I have to worry about the fine tip during utility tasks? (I dont plan to baton with it or anything, but it wont be babied)
Thanks everyone!

CABS. Light and thin for EDC. That is all. Other suggestion would be a AMS because it's currently available from the shop.

AMS (still avalaible through the Busse web site), Active Duty or the Pork Shank (pic).
As a back-up for the TGLP, i would go for the Active Duty (Boney Active Duty (skinny)) or the AMS. Carried on its own, i would go for the Pork Shank.

Good luck in the "jungle" :D

I don't think you need to worry about the tip using one for normal work tasks.
Check out what Dave Brown did to a Busse Steak Knife.

I also agree with Demonic, the AMS is very nice tuff little Busee too:

I don't think you can go wrong with either one!!!

I've got that very same knife. Someone here posted the same type of test as David Brown did (tip drilling a 2x4).
That person used a AMSMO (pictured above)..... Don't worry about that tip;)

If you are worried about the tip,

AMS is nice.
AMSMO if you can find one better .

But Actually for the cutting tasks you specified (no prying) I would go with one of the steak knives.
nice thin blade, holds the edge great. Super light.
You can even carry IWB as to not scare the timid :)

Thin cuts boxes, zip ties, rope and the like way better than thick and even the AMS is a little thick for those tasks

cuts leather nice
