So yeah, kind of a niche request, but am looking to find something "close" in terms of overall blade shape to a Protech Godfather, but fixed. 4" - 5" single-edged blade would be ideal. Would also like it to come w/ a kydex sheath w/ a horizontal carry option.

Price-wise, am looking to keep things under $400 max

Look up "coffin handle dagger", and see if there's one out there that gets close. Price point may be an issue, since most of the ones I see are custom.

Maybe one of the makers here would like to take a swing at it?

So far this one's the front runner...

If you can locate one, this is a Browning 685 FDX-2.

They were made by TOPS Knives, they sold their own version, can't remember the model number though.

Let Paul / CPE_Knives CPE_Knives make you a custom. His Kwaikens are awesome, and I'm sure he'll add a swedge if you like. You can also pick the steel, etc. These days, I would not buy a fixed blade in a sXXv steel any more. AEB-L or Magnacut if you want stainless, or a semi-stainless steel like CW, 3V, etc.

This one is in 3V.

I generally avoid full daggers as there might be carry complications for many states.

I can make this knife and sheath (would not be exact copy of other maker's design), for under this price, in AEB-L, 15N20, or MagnaCut. And I can have it ready by fall of this year, if not sooner.

Thinking also punch fixed blade stiletto into an image search.
