This was a fun one! I basically upscaled the Grinlin pattern to fit the customers 4.5" blade desires. Added an extended tang with grooves and a cut out in the scalses for the thong hole to have better access without being stuck way out from the handle scales that is normally done without the cut out in the handle material.

I left the heat treat finish on the extended tang just for fun and it lets teh user in on that portion is heat treated to make the butt not get so banged up if used roughly.

Handle material is left grippy rough and this knife will see alot of use in the next deer season :)

Steel is 0-1
Handle material - Natural Micarta RED liners.

Love this one!!! I've been liking the way the 'grippy' handles feel. Not polished smooth but a bit of a blasted finish. It's grippy w/out being too rough.

Very Nice!! If the 'buyer' doesn't like this one let me know...

I really need to pick up some checkering files!

Great job as usual! I think you're next on my list of BF members from which I need to buy a knife :).

I dig all your knives, but the grimlin is one of my favorites.

Great work!

The blade design is one for many uses. This truly a great knife that is very functional. An awesome piece of work!
