A long time client and friend sent a big handful of Walrus from his stash and asked for a modified Turkish twist Damascus blade to go with it.

I trimmed it out with stainless and passed it on to Paul Long.

Paul made such a beauty, in matching black and brown, that I had to mate some Blackwood and stainless in a "Take-down" tool to complement the sheath.

The tool's on it's way to Paul for a "Papoose" tomorrow, then the whole works will take the road eastward.

Here's a couple pics.

For some reason the design reminds me of Karl Andersons knives. Nice stuff there I love the steel.

Very impressive piece - I like that damascus pattern a whole lot. Paul nailed the sheath - it's what he does.

BTW, how big is it? It looks like about a 10 1/4" long and maybe a good 1 5/8" to 1 3/4 wide???

That one is sure to make its new owner happy!
Beautiful sheath & ivory!
Nice pictures, too (I miss the jacket and pillows!)

WOW--Beautiful damascus, I love turkish twist, but it is certainly ok to cover it up with Paul's pants! Nice job!

Once again .. I love everything about this package. Beautiful damascus pattern. Paul, your sheath is so perfect..

VERY nice John. That's a beautiful blade.

I love the two toned sheath, Paul had his thinking cap on when that one landed. It's perfect with that walrus color.

Love it John. Exceptional as always. And of course, Pauls sheath is the icing on the cake. Beautiful work.

Gorgeous as always, John. Your damascus is what dreams are made of! The lovely Long leather adds the perfect touch, too.
