4" Bird & Trout by 2gknives..

Hello,
looking for a small, elegant camp knife, I fell in love with bird & trout knives made by treeman.
I needed a 4" blade to be totaly legal in spain, wanted sambar stag handle and german silver guard, having in mind the traditional "nickers" from germany.
Also, I wanted to make the new knife a nice pair with my Hubertus hunting folders, also in sambar and german silver.

So I got in contact with Rodrigo Mulero from 2gknives.com and asked for a knife to meet these specs.

Handforged 4" blade from 0,25" 52100 stock, forged down to about 0,18", convex grind.
Handle from sambar stag, silver soldered german silver guard with serial number and german silver pommel with beautiful engraved initials, date and scroll.

The last 5 days I carried this knive in the woods :)

That sure is a nice little knife! I have a soft spot for B&T knives. I love that full length swedge grind. Now just to get it all bloody and covered in fish slime!

it allready got covered with fish slime :) took some time to get rid of the smell, but a pleasure to work with.
