Just nailed one. It was an ebay and the pics looked pretty good. It seems to have a date mark as a one dot on the right side. I'm not familiar with this knife at all. Apparently, it has no model number stamp on it. Any ideas? All comments are welcome as always.

Any pic's???? Just had a look at it on the bay... Nice knife, what dot??? I see BUCK That's it... But I can't see that good anyway... I see USA. ! ! ! !

There shouldn't be a dot, the 322 Congress was a Camillus contract knife, as such it will not have the Buck dating system on it.

I dunno it looked like a dot to me. When I get it, I'll let you know. If it was rare someone would know. I'm thinking it's not too rare, otherwise, you guys would have smoked my bid. Regardless, it's amazing that you guys saw it and I got it.

Sorry no dots other than metal blemishes so no date codes. Generally considered to be a SMKW contract knife. But knives have been showing up out of the past as shut-down factory sales have occurred. Find a yellow scale and have the whole set of two.....300Bucks

I had that one saved to watch in "My Ebay", but I am trying to behave and stay focused on 301's.

Glad someone here got it!:D

The Congress was the first of the Smoky Mountain contract knives built by Camillus. There is an interesting difference between this knife and its Camillus counterpart. All the other SMKW knives are just rebadged Cami knives but the Buck Congress is not a copy of the Cami one. It is a mirror image of the Cami knife. The Buck knife is right handed; the main blade is in the front on the right, but the Cami Congress is left handed; the main blade is on the left. Because of this the blades are not interchangeable, Cami and Buck. Odd eh?

Thanks for all the good info. I got the Camillus Congress a couple of months ago, so it will be interesting to compare them.
