#2 -- Another for Sher fans -- 18" 19 oz. quick Kobra. 10/10 rig. 30 seconds blade polishing and very small grainline in handle that won't go anywhere. 1/2 price again @ $62.50

#3 -- Last one for Sher fans -- 15 inch 14 ounce Sirupati excellently crafted. The only problem with entire rig is 3 minutes worth of rust removal. Delivered to your door today for 12/ price = $50

bottom -- Best all round khukuri we sell -- 18 inch 29 ounce WWII by Kumar. Perfect rig but handle developed epoxy fix crack. We'll deliver this fine rig to your door today for 1/2 price = $72.50. Five minutes work with black epoxy brings it to perfect condition.

Email to get any or all of todays steals.

It I wasn't saving for the new model, that 18" WWII would be mine...

It's the Inc part of munk that won't allow this one home.
29 oz. Real worker. 29 is just about my comfort carry end of the line. Heavier, even slightly, and after a few miles hoofing in the woods it tells.

This is quite a knife when you realize 18" AK's haven't been coming in heavier.

Today's blems are tempting...

but I have to control my HIKV a little bit
(6 Khuks in two weeks)

As I mentioned to Bill in an email over the weekend, I've been away from the Cantina for a while but it feels soooo good to return. This site is so much more than just khukuries. It's sort of like putting on an old pair of really comfortable boots after wearing new stiff ones or taking a hot shower after you've been out in the bush for awhile. That is except for one thing - that damn HI virus. Since coming back I've bought a Chainpuri on the weekend and now today the AK today. I need help!:D

Thomas beat me to that Siru, though I guess its my fault for goinng out! You do realise you guys may be responsible for the breakdown of my relationship, I mean can you imagine the reaction I will get next week when I say 'sorry, no, not going to come over to see you this week, I mean there may be some more blems on the HI forum!';)

Looks like the perfect backpacking khuk.

(And it's "Thomas" because when the BF form asked for "name" [Well, duhh.] I thought it meant my name. "Tom" would fit better, but I answer to about anything.)

Yeah, the Sirus are beautiful and by all accounts light but capable, so probably good for backpacking. I used to carry a Tanto from time to time but it had a fair drawback in that it was a knife, not a chopper.

I will remember it's 'Tom' in future, I only said Thomas because I know at least one chap who prefers it not to be abbreviated (has anyone else wondered why that is such a long word?) so thought I had better not ;)

The last blade I got before HI was a tanto- carried for Mt lion possibilities. Compared to a khuk, it is a pitiful attempt at defense from animals.

I gave it away.
