Wow....Crow and a Mustang for about 100 clams? Those are super deals!

I cried last time when I think blue scored the Mustang knife. I was some jealous.

Right devil.....do it, do it, it's super cool! Left Angel.....you should be good, your not rich. Let someone else have it.
Right devil......take it now! They's sharks in these here waters! Left Angel.......don't be greedy, I know your working on another pull out wall but still, it's nice to let others go first.
Right devil, be first or be a loser..... DO IT.

Devil wins! EMS sent. No confirmation, done deal or long gone yet.

Nice grab, Bawanna - those mustang knives are really interesting! I could find you another turquoise to replace the missing stone here in ABQ, if you can't find one up there in the NW. Of course, you'd need to ship the knife to me, so I could be sure that it fit correctly ;)

Considering the work that went into these knives, they all seem underpriced.

Congrats to Bawanna!

I'm so happy! Got the done deal.

Hmm send to mopar, sounds like risky business to me.........

A Bonecutter for $85!!! Someone gotta jump on this one before Auntie change her mind.

Bawanna, cough-cough you low-rent rapscallion! Hack You KNEW I was stuck at the VA today choke-gasp and beat me to the cough-hack-wheeze the draw on that knife. Where's my packet of pins? gag-choke-cough

I wonder what the white metal scabbards of those Mustang knives are made of. There's such a thing as Tibetan Silver, also known as Nepalese Silver, which is mostly copper and tin with a bit of silver tossed into the mix.

I can't wait to gaze at it and take a well uneducated guess. Sure looks beautiful in the picture.

Was I correct in stating that you got the last one? The memory, terrible thing to waste. I do remember some stuff sometimes.
I've gotten to where I write alot of stuff down, now if I could only remember where I wrote it I'd be golden.

Would you agree that the quality of these particular Mustang knives like all things HI are of a higher quality than perhaps the stuff for those who travel?

Certainly not choppers but more ceremonial but well built. I'm consumed by anticipation at the moment so my mind wanders.

Which of course means even more beautiful in person. Congratulations on the great score:thumbup:

Id say its probably nickle silver which contains no elemental silver at all and some call it german silver and many other things. It is more durable than native or elemental silver and when you gotta do a bunch of carvings etc it is best suited to such abuse. This alloy has the effect of tarnishing just like elemental silver hence it name "nickel silver". It has nickel but no silver. It does look great but dont put it your safe deposit box waiting for the value to go up.
Grats Bawanna! I was sad I missed the last one but glad you got this one. I think you will see the scabbard will be up to par with your Kothimoda Katana. Awesome detail and worth way more than what you got it for labor alone! Great deal man!
