Blem #1 -- Very nice 21" two pound Chitlangi by Amtrak. Rig is perfect except for superglue fix crack in horn handle. Delivered to your door if you live in US for $75.00

Blem #2 -- 17.5" two pound M43 by Kumar. This is a 10/10 effort by a very fine kami. Only problem is 5 minutes worth of rust removal. Yours for $95 and a pretty decent deal this is.

Blem #3 -- 18" 28 ounce WWII by Kumar. Only this wrong with this entire rig is a superglue fix crack on horn handle. Five minutes of your time and three cents worth of superglue saves $50. Take this one home for $95.00

Blem #4 -- Fairly rare 13.5" 13.5 ounce Balance khukuri by Amtrak. Nice horn handle. Problem is minor rust on blade -- figure ten minutes removal time. Good buy at $55 delivered.

No calls please. Email only.

Azis, you're gonna love this khuk if you are lucky enough to snag it!!!!:D
Mine is temporarily staying in the safe, but if I go any distance at all it is one of the few that goes with me. I would need a moving van to take 'em all with me, just because of the weight. ;) :)

I have a couple of 21" Chit from Amtrak. I like his work and both of the Chit are amoung my top favorites.

I'll be happy to post a pic of the balance when it gets here :)

Very happy fellow indeed!!

Use below link to the HI FAQ, find the heading Other pages of Interest on the Himalayan Imports main site. Under that is a sub-heading titled Variants, Interpretations,Special Runs, and other Nepalese tools. Click on that heading and scroll halfway down that page, and you will see the Ghopte Balance. See how deeply curved it is, so that both the tip of the blade and the buttcap drop sharply.

Pick one up, put your thumbnail against the blade's edge in the curve in front of the closed cho, and you will find the knife will "balance" it's edge on your thumbnail. If you try this, please be very, very careful. And that is why they call it a "balance".
