Blem #1 -- 17.5 inch 1.5 pound M43 by ! kami. Good work and good khukuri. Wood handle. Only problem is about 5 minutes worth of rust removal on blade. Take it home for $95.

Blem #2 -- 18 inch 1.5 pound Chitlangi by Sher with all usual Sher features. Horn handle. Yangdu says there is a small crack in the blade. This might mean a very small fold line or else the edge popped a quarter of an inch when hardening. Either way I'll guarantee the knife for life and will send it for $65. I've dealt with these "cracks" for years and they never went anywhere and the only reason you ever knew they were there is because they were visible.

Blem #3 -- 18 inch 1.5 pound Gelb Special by Sher with all Sher features. Only thing that keeps this knife out of 10/10 category is hairline crack in handle that has a 1% chance of developing. Delivered for $75.

Blem #4 -- Another almost perfect BAS, 15 inches and 1.25 pounds by Kumar. Small crack on horn handle, superglue fix, keeps it out of perfect. Take it home today for 1/2 price and we will pay shipping = $50.

No calls. Email to get one or all of these bargains.

Uncle Bill posting from SEKS.

For those who don't know, looks like normal price on BAS, according to HI site, is $100.

So price on this blem would be $50, a great deal.

Correct me if I'm wrong on that Uncle Bill.

I'm surprised that nobody has jumped on Blem #1 (the M43 by "!") yet. I've got one of his M43s (reviewed elsewhere) and it's quite nice. I think Bruiselee has one as well.

Does the M-43 work well as a solid user? How does it compare to other khuks in the same size range? I am thinking of getting it and wondered how it was as a work horse.

Thanks for help

Rick

I gots one of thems. ! makes some very eye pleasing shapes. Nice flowing lines. I'd like to see a 16.5" WW2 from him. I've never liked the shape of the ones I've seen from the other kamis. Dunno why. Maybe I need a punch in the head. :p
