18" 27 OZ wwii by Amtrak. Grainlines in handle. $75 delivered and the last UBBB for today.

Call or email. I may have to get out for a smog check on Taurus so if you don't hear right back you'll know why. As usual, first come first served.

Customer sent it back saying blade was crooked

Crooked? Crooked? Ain't nothing crooked about it, Light waves react in a strange fashion when they encounter the aura of a "Bura Magic Sirupati". I know, mine does the same thing, and I've laid it flat on a counter top only to find it is perfectly straight. Somebody buy it quick, please, pretty please. I've already got a 15" and an 18" Sirupati, but this one's making my eyes water. Oh the agony:eek: :D

"Customer sent it back saying blade was crooked."

Did you tell them,
"Of course it's crooked, it wouldn't be a khuk without a bent blade."
:D

But the more serious answer is this:

"Customer sent it back saying blade was crooked."

And surely it is.

Too many people look at handmade items
and are disappointed or at least unimpressed
because it's not "factory perfect".

In this case not laser-straight perfection.

Sad for them, bene for us here.

I look at the same thing & I'm impressed
at just how finely done something is
especially considering being handmade.

But I've tried a lot of different handwork and know something
of the difficulty of getting something smooth/straight whatever.

Handmade has character/spirit/whatever terms you like to use.

Factory to me often has what many call a 'sterile' look & feel.

Hip Hurrah for the kamis.

Rant off.

Besides, I think most everyone here has said
much the same at one time or another.

The Sarki seems to be adding these brown leather loops to the top of his sheaths. Is this a fashion trend?

Uncle Bill, how long would the handle be on the 25" Sirupati?? And how much more would it weigh than a 25" Kobra?

He's been doing it on most rigs for some time now. Hanger for hook or nail.

Those loopy things used to match the sheath. Maybe he just has some brown leather thong lying around.

It is black, Bruise. What you are seeing is just the edge - which is brown.
