Hey,

I will be finishing Production on 4 more videos to add to the Current 4 videos i have already produced.

The Current Videos that are available are :

1. Flat Grinding
2. Hollow Grinding
3. Kydex sheath Making
4. Carbon Steel Heat Treating

The Other 4 Videos that will be available the End of June 2001 are going to be :

1. Slab Handled/Full Tang Handle
Construction and finishing
2. Hidden/slipover Handle construction
and finishing.
3. Disk Finishing/Hand Satin finishing of
Blades and Fittings.
4. Tappered Tang Grinding and Construction.

How about one on fileworking? BTW, those tapes finally made it and I checked out the flat grinding video last night. Today I watched the hollow grinding and heat treat videos. All are very informative.

This evening I flat ground a small blade and literally went from grinding moron to grinding genius. What a difference! I definitely gained a lot of control and knew what to do next as problems came up. Tomorrow I'll do the heat treat and finish it up. Thanks Allen!

I enjoyed your videos on grinding. I hope you are including the finished product in your new videos. It was a little disappointing not to see the completed knife.

Yep i am going to be finishing up the knife in the handle, guard fitting video and show it completed. i am also going to produce a 3 set video called the:

Complete Knife Making

It is going to cover all aspects of making the knife from rough materials to the finished ready to use product and the sheath,sharpening.

I have saw all Allens tapes, he is done to earth and shows that knife making does not
have to cost an arm and leg. he free
hand grinds and does it very well any one
that can grind a katana can grind just about
anything,keep up the good work with the videos it shows what it takes to make a knife
and you are kind enough to share your knife making skills with use

THanks for the kind words, i try to make the videos to be informative and show a way the average person can learn the skills to make knives without having to stumble through alot of mistakes i had to learn about, i am hoping i am accomplishing that
with the tapes i am doing.
