I just talked to Darrel this evening. My 4" CF EDC is ready! He said he will try to get it shipped Thursday. Since we live about 20 minutes from each other, I should get it Friday! I tried to talk Darrel into letting me come up Thursday and get it myself. He used some lame excuse like he had more knives to make and couldn't afford to be pestered, er... I mean interrupted. As son as I get it I can scan it. Does anyone have a photopoint account that wouldn't mind posting it?

You will have a groove in your floor by Friday but I am sure you will love the knife when you get it. I have had an Apogee on order since November and it is hard to see everyone getting their new DDR knives while you are waiting for yours. Be sure and post a picture.

Looks like I can hang that up (again), just watched the UPS guy drive by going into the neighborhood, and after 20 minutes at the window, I got to watch him drive out.

OwenM, I feel your pain! UPS tried to deliver while I was in the shower and didn't hear the door! The freakin frst time they deliver before 1:00pm! This is going to be a long @#$%'en weekend! If I knew the drivers route, I would chase him down!

I had to chase after my UPS guy when he tried to deliver my ArcLite ALB (read about it on What's New, posted a few weeks back). I was lucky, caught up with him. Man, if I had that 4" EDC coming, modesty be damned....I'd answer the door butt nay-ked and dripping like a wet dog

Success! He was eating lunch just down the street! I have the EDC!

It's kick ass! Darrel has a winner! Owen has volunteered to post my scans. Hopefully he'll be able to do them this evening.

Darrel has add a full back spacer to this knife with some excellent file work! He also did a very thin grind on the blade. It will take a wicked edge! At 4" this isn't just a longer blade, but a completely scaled up knife! If your a big guy and wanted something to fit your hands, this knife will do it. I have average to small hands and it feels very comfy! I'm having a hard time with describing the knife, I am darn near overwhelmed!

OK, now that I got it, it's time to put it up for sale!

Just kidding Darrel! After all of the pestering I did, this knife stays!

I hope Dirk doesn't care if I go ahead and post the pics. Now that I have a regular EDC I will have to get a large one. Man that looks good.

Dexter, I just read your entire post. Call me crazy, but the image of you nay-ked, standing in a doorway is not what I wanted to take with me to work. I think I am going to need a therapist to get over this one.

I was chasing UPS all over when I missed my EDC. Had to call their office, have them call the driver, and was going to meet him, but he just came back by the house. Whew! An extra day of waiting is one day too many!

Got the scans, but see that Dennis posted two of them already. I'll throw the other one up tonight.

Just opened my email and saw that gorgeous EDC. Man, I have to wait a few more months before I can go chase the UPS man! Great looking knife! Guess i will have to be satisfied with the 4" Dozier Buckhunter WITH A CLIP that is comming tomorow. God bless UPS Saturday delivery!
