Looking to pick up a full tang bush-craft knife with roughly a ~4" scandi ground blade. Preferably around 1/8" thick. A drop/spear point tip would be nice but isn't as necessary as the other requirements... oh, and $75 is about my limit.

Anyone have any suggestions? Right now all I'm spotting that fits is an Enzo traper blank (making my own scales isn't a big deal). Thanks in advance for the help

My borther at http://graywolfknives.com makes some very nice ones for $65.00 to $85.00 . They are all full tang, avalible in oak, black walnut and micarta handles, in O1 or 1095 steel, in 1/8" or 5/32" stock.

I'm diggin that number 3 alot. Thanks for the heads up.

I was gonna say that BHK has the new Boattail Scandi. I got handle it at Spirit of Steel, and I must say that guy is robust. Give'em both a look. Gray Wolf certainly has them beat in price.

those Graw Wolf Knives look like a good deal!

and the Koster for $50 is also a great deal... but it doesn't come with scales. that mayy take it out of contention for some.

I was gonna say BHK until I looked at the Graywolf link. Wow, think I need that #4 now.

it's also only 3/32" thick with a 3" blade - but the no polish & no scales is how he keeps the cost down. I was impressed with the feel and handyness of it.

BHK sells their Bushcrafter with a scandi grind. I saw it on line at a dealers site but can't find which one now. Someone might be able to find it.

Good luck!
