Just did a brine quench on some 1065. Cant wait to see the hamon on this rascal. Doing a quick 300 degree temper as we speak. I likes em when they dont go ka' ping. That was pretty neat to feel it wiggle around

Came out straight. took it up to 400 grit and plunked in the etch. Lookin good so far. .

Thats what we ought to start calling knife making. Burnin some socks that can be the secret code of the shoptalk gonads.
