4 Kyle R. Gahagan Knives

I had the opportunity to photograph some of Kyle Gahagan's knives recently. I especially enjoyed handling the viking style bowie. It's beast of a knife. Very dramatic. Enjoy!


440c blade, 440c guard and pommel with dyed maple burl handle.



440c blade, damascus guard, and fossil walrus ivory handle.



1095 blade, stainless bolsters, and twill carbon fiber handle.



Viking style bowie with 3/8" damascus blade, damascus guard, brass spacers with a snakeskin spalted sycamore handle. The sheath has a cow stomach insert and Viking carvings.

Cool knives Kyle! That Viking bowie looks massive!!!! The bowie with the maple handle looks really nice too. I like the handle shape on it.

Actually, That Viking Bowie is going to the folder with potential submittals for BF Best Bowie 2014.
I'm not overly fond of the handle shapes on the other two Bowies even though they are nice pieces.
