Yes, it was from a big sports and outdoors store XXL that operates in Finland and Sweden. I also mailed them and they are sorting it out too.
 
I did some more image searching and noticed that 4 Max has similar shape compared to this knife individual. Does anyone know if CS has refined the 4 Max Scout at some point? They changed AD-10 from hollow to flat grind, so have they changed some tiny aspects in 4 Max Scout aswell?

I haven't seen other image of other 4 Max Scout with similar shape so far, but lots of 4 Max photos that are kinda identical at where blade meets the black frame..
 
After GSM bought Cold Steel they changed packaging on a lot of knives to type like the one you received your 4Max scout in. Also that is the new logo they are using and the slight differences is like Jordan said with it being product variation.
 
Solved. XXL gets their CS knives from GSM Outdoors. So there's no chance it's a counterfeit. Thank you for the replies.

I will search how to delete this thread in a week or two as it does not serve any purpose anymore and other counterfeit thread exists.
