I just finished up this 4 inch stockman for a forum member and was agreed I would post a few pictures (I am more than happy to oblige)(this knife is SOLD) This one is 1/2 inch larger than my last stockman. While building 3 blade slips is a lot a work (for me at least) the challenge and finished results make it worth it! I also have not worked much with pearl, but love the results.

Photographing pearl is very tough for me. That is the reason the one photo is very dark. I played around with the levels in Photoshop to try and bring out the natural beauty of this stuff!

4 inch closed
ATS-34 blades and springs, flat ground satin finish
Long pull master blade, standard pulls secondary blades
410 integral frames and bolsters, bright finish bolsters
White Mother Of Pearl scales, sans shield
3 1/4 oz

I truly appreciate past and present comments on my work.

Ken

That's really gorgeous. The handle contours, the crisp blade grinds, and the proportions of the whole package flow together without a single distracting element. I love the long pull on that sharply master clip blade.

Ken,

You made that knife for who? :D.

I know that guy, he end up chopping concrete blocks with it. Then he will send it to Gig so he can baton ironwood. :)

Congrats to both of you. that is one beautiful knife.

Another beauty, Ken! Congrats!

Ken,

The knife is a beauty, photos look very good.
Congrats to you the new owner. -

And be VERY careful with the pearl - IT is some of the worst for your lungs my friend.

Do take care.

Knew it was going to be a looker before I even clicked on the link. The long pull on the clip is great.

I heard that too. :D

Your picture skills really brought out the elegant lines in the knife. I would like a pen blade and it would be perfect!

Nice execution, of a classic pattern. Great piece, Ken!
Who's the lucky so-and-so??
