Here's a little order I've been working on . Case and handles are all tiger maple with sterling silver inlay. The damascus is my flame pattern with matching hardware, and titanium spacers. Blade lengths on the 2 bowies and dagger are 12 1/4", OAL range from 17 1/2" - 17 3/4".
I apologize for the poor picture, trying to get a detailed picture of something this size is a real nightmare. The case is 24"x 15".

Thanks for looking

Bill

WOW !!!!!!!! now that is one amazing set of knives. Any one would be great to own but the set is just outstanding. I think you did one a year ago that was great but this just stands alone and above the crowd. Congrats!!!!

Bill, Very nice set! I do think you forgot to count the box. I'm looking forward to getting a good look at it.

Those are all beautiful pieces, including the box!

WOW is RIGHT!! VERY beautiful set Bill. The presentation box is exceptional as well.

Your customer is going to be thrilled .

as a set that is out of this world, (a part of me really wants to see the bowies individually however).
Outstanding vision and craftsmanship, my favourite Buxton build yet!

Tremendous work, Bill! What a set. Your flame pattern really makes this special.

I think you've found your niche. Really, REALLY cool. Someone is going to be especially happy.

Good post. Thanks for showing off us! ;)

Off the hook spectacular set. Murray's right - any one of those is a sweet treat. All 4 plus that terrific box? Sugar overload!

Thank you all for the wonderful comments, this set has definitely been the most time and material consuming of any thus far. The 12" + blades required a bunch of damascus making sessions, not to mention the time required on the case. I'm glad this one is finished.
Kevin - thank you for the memories , makes me realize just how insane I am. The kick is, I have another one on order and I'll be starting it real soon.

Thanks again everyone,

Bill

I met Bill this last weekend at the Little Rock Show. A fine gentleman and awesome knife maker. This set was there on display at his table and is even more beautiful in person believe me.
Nice to finally shake your hand Bill.

I agree with Bruce on all accounts! This set is amazing in every way. It was a true pleasure to meet Mr. And Mrs. Buxton. As it was to meet Mr. Bump. Thanks to all three of you for taking the time for a new maker.

Kindest regards, Chris
