Hello,

I would like to present my latest knive, made by 2Gknives in Mallorca.
The idea for this knive came up, talking with Rodrigo about my sambar 4" by 2Gknives. I wanted a second knive, same as before, just different handle material. Rodrigo named this model after me ;) so it's an honor to have a matching pair.
The sambar knive I presented here before

So, the new knife has the same blade, maybe slightly less curve in the spine, german silver, soldered guard and pommel, but as handle, it has a beautifull, really dark brown, nearly black springbok horn.

The blade is 4" long, convex ground, about 5mm strong at the guard, forged down from 1/4" of 52100, and it shows the typical 2G stamps, RMC for Rodrigo Mulero Crespi, Scagel Kris and the 2GG2 logo.

Rodrigo from 2Gknives asked me for the engravings I want on the pommel, so I decided for a typical german pattern, oak leaves :) to create some contrast to the exotic handle material.

The sheath is made by BearHolsters, from strong, rugged brown leather with rayskin inserts.

But I will let talk the pictures....

..and here the springbok with it's sambar brother.

Beautifull knives.
I remember an article in Messer Magazine on them. Friendly guys.
How does the springbock feel in hand?

Hello,
the springbok feels great in hand! Now I don't know how it would handle using it for hunting, covered with blood, maybe the polished surface will get slippy..
