Great Deals Today!

Is it me, or are the Pen Knives getting better looking? That villager has some nice grind lines on it.

Man, i love those villagers:)

I love that 20" WWII. very nice:)

Great group today...that pen sure looks good someone please grab that

That big WWII is a choice khukuri... and am I right, that's the first VBGRS that's chiruwa...? First that I remember, anyways. Mine just like it isn't. Norm? Yvsa? Somebody?

those are truely beautifull blades,
the Pen knife will be for sure my next buy, sooo sexy and it looks like an incredible chopper, i have to wait for my wallet to get a refill though :D

thank you Yangdu,
Alex

Email sent for 16.5 WWII. Ahhhh, this makes me so anxious!

I'm eyeing that Pen knife as well...but unfortunately my wallet won't support it this month. There's always christmas. And my birthday. And a million other excuses I can come up with to get one :D

Plus 2 MORE Kagas Katne

Wow, people ARE right... This is the knife of the week club...

I need to get one of those Chiruwa BGRS's. Also, I love that chiruwa handle on the WWII, and don't mind the bolster, but it has some monster cho creep!

Thanks,

Norm

Ad, I think we have had about 3 of them so far. I keep rationalizing that I don't need one, but that was a particularly nice one. Wish I had snagged it. I'm sure there will be more!

The rare one here is the 20" WWII. Nice bolster and cho. There have not been too many of this size at all. Also about 3 that I recall. My 18.5" 27 oz. villager WWII is just such a perfect razor sharp chopper though that I can't really make the case for buying this one. Wish I could! I also have a 19.5" 29 oz. WWII by Sgt. Karka with a chainpuri handle, but it has a more pointed blade than a usual WWII. Nice rig.

Thanks,

Norm

I agree Dan, the last few Pen Knives have been very "swoopy" for lack of a better word. Stylish.

That 20" WWII better get bought soon or I will be in trouble... They are really great knives, and that one with traditional bolster and a handle that could really sparkle...

Today was almost a perfect selection for me, since I love the chiruwa WWIIs as well. Add a Sarge instead of the BGRS and I could have bought them all...

these are hibachi style bolsters. Not good. I have a few very old khuks that my grandpa gave me, non of these have this kind of bolsters.

I will respectfully disagree with the 'not good' part. 'Non-traditional', perhaps. The little bit of metal sticking out over the ricasso will in no way affect the usefulness of the knife.

Since the rep point system is temporarily disabled, might I suggest that you allow some of the moisture behind your ears to dry before you badmouth the livelihood of the forum you are visiting?

No badmouthing...and no offence,
I posted what I knew about the khuks.
Hibachi bolsters tend to hide the joint to show nicely finished product.

ANd if these Habachi bolsters had failed at the joint, more than the traditional style, that might be a problem.
