in a 6 day period (5/8-5/14) I purchases 8 used knives.

first was the the kershaw speedform II. i was thinking of getting something in 3V, saw this and said , hey I don't have any thing in Elmax yet.

then i saw a 0551 and said , ohhhh thats a good price

then a 0301 and said, oohhh thats a good price too, I received it with a lanyard with it as well.

Then i was out bidded on ebay for 3 kershaws together. As I was contemplating the increase bid conformation, the girl friend hit me and hit the confirm button as i was trying to hit the cancel button. I won the auction a little more than i wanted to pay but still a decent price.

I was like, hell might as well try find some more ZT's. I kept getting out bidded on ebay, then low and behold a 0560 came up for sale on state gun forum. it came with 9 deep carry pocket clips. he had a problem with the original one. so they sent him a new one, but with the wrong screws. and they kept doing that for a while. i talked him down a bit got for a real good price. i giggled like a school girl when i first flick it open. this one seem almost assisted in opening.

After that I had in my budget for one more ZT, I found a 0750 new in box with a zipper pouch. picked it up for a real good price as well.


i recently purchased a wicked edge. the 0301 and 0560 needed a sharpening the 0551 and 0750 were still shaving sharp. put a nice mirror edge on them. I havent got around to the keshaws yet. i now have 5 ZT's and dont know how many kershaws, need to count.

That's quite a budget... To have just bought 3 ZT's and figure there's enough for one more... Kill me now...
 
Budget? He doesn't have a budget, he has deep pockets. Just kidding. You did well. Very nice collection. Now you have to join the Order of Kai.

i do like the shape of it. it took a minute to get used to the thumb stud. it sits close to the liners. but it is very smooth and locks up well.
dont know yet about edge retention it was used but not abused when i got it. it will cut paper but not shave. and i plan to mod the crap out of it before i carry it any way.

I have to have a budget for knives. if i dont, I will spend all my money. between my tax return and the ovetime i'm working it was larger than normal this past month.

once i acquire enough post i think i will try and join the order.
 
I think you're what we call "addicted". Nice sharpening too! How do you like the Wicked Edge? I'm thinking about getting one later this Summer.

I love it. For me, I think it is a great system. Other don't like it. But its all personal preference.
