Wow...not much to say at 4000 posts except that the timing was good with this landing on the tail end of Thanksgiving weekend.

Thanks for the fun, friendships and especially new family (you know who you are) during many late night sessions in the Cantina.

Every time I'm in the hand tools section at Lowe's, I think of you for some reason.... hmm... 16 oz., hickory handle... Is that the one Nasty recommends?

Kis just hit 4K mid-Nov. also. Lots of good reading...

Still have that one "scary sharp" blade... it's still a fave.

I don't think it's right that I've not met my friends Semper fi and Nasty in person. I hope we can do something about that before we all walk West. I envy Nasty and Semper. Have a great time, guys.

It's actually not right that I've not met Hollow's goats, either.

Drive East...pick up Semper Fi on the way, and we'll head down to Hollow's for a rip roarin' time. He has room for us...and enough chores and goats to keep us busy.
 
I've got three kids to take care of. How about you drive West, and take your Anti Social Personality Friend with you....er....except that's probably half of us here now.

In all seriousness, in some short while, not sure when, I will be able to drive East with all three sons riding shotgun. That may mean a couple years from now, not sure.

Good. Keep on east till you hit water then go up, stop just shy of Canada. Then you can swing by and get me:D
 
Hell. We might as well buy a bus, name it, "Further", and hit the road for a summer, picking up forumites and dropping them off all across the US.

Like I said before, everybody from this forum that I have met in person is as nice and most even nicer than online. It's a great thing.

Another thing I notice is that some of the more wordy people online are quieter off line and vice versa. Tom Linton seldom replies with more than a few sentences, but he will talk your leg off in person!:thumbup:

What would be cool is bring khuks and build a small log cabin with them! I have the standing pole sized timber, the house seat in the woods right near the timber.
