From Idaho to Missouri via UPS. Akonua 0402BO2. Solid rosewood handle, not Dymondwood, with guitar fret type inserts and a nickel silver guard. Perfect fit and finish. I wish the sheath was a little better, roughly finished edge and poorly closed toe. The plastic insert is not laid in well and prevents the knife from seating in the sheath. I believe this is the fourth variation using this blade. The original was a dealer only knife with gold etching. The second issue, 402BO, had a black palmwood handle and was sold at the BCCI 25th event. The third, 0402BO1, was similar to this one except had micarta inserts instead of the fret material.

I can appreciate the blade cut-outs for collectors; but can we get a regular production user please?

Pokt, Buck offered that model from 1972 with 440C steel and micarta handles. Red birch handles started in 1981 with 425M steel and other handles since then. DM
