I didn't know about these until last week, and now have these two:rolleyes:. I'd like more information...were they issued in other colors(please say NO!!!!)...did they have an companion 112(same NO) and did Buck do any other 110 anniversary editions ie 10th?. I do have the 25th 110 and 112, which is the reason I bought these...that my excuse and I'm sticking with it:eek: :D .

Also, along with this post, in reference to one by someone else recently, I'm including a pic of the two tang stamps...and the info from the boxes. One is B110-SP70-0, dated 2/16/04. The other is B110-SP62-0, dated 12/17/03.

Any info, comments on these editions would be appreciated. Preston

Sorry ZZJake, didn't know...is your list on the BCCI website or ?. Preston

There is a "1961 - 1986" 25th anniv 110 and, I have read, a 112 with the same marking.

The 112 was pulled when it was realized that the 112 had not been out for 25 years when that anniv knife was issued.

Thanks Goose, I do have that issue. Which is the main reason that I went ahead with the 40th Anniversary ones. Preston

Preston, I have a partial list on KFC, I'll email you with a better one if you'd like, just let me know.

Trax, thats knifeforums.com, I hope posting this doesn't step on anyones toes.

I wouldn't think so; we haven't tried to sell or buy anything in this Forum, just directing browsers to That Other Site for clarification on what you're talking about... ;)

Having said that, that is the most confusing thread I've read in a couple weeks...I can't figure out what is how much where...Don't know what the "new rule" is, but my gut feeling is that it sucks... :grumpy:

But Good Luck anyway!

I'd appreciate you doing that...I would think that the link in my public profile would work if not post and I'll put it in this thread. Thanks, Preston

Preston, your e mail is not available there...

There's a couple Forum members who do not choose to receive emails or PMs...I'm not complaining...I did try to email a member on two occasions for subjects he might be interested in, but to no avail... :(

Preston - Those unsightly etchings on the blade should buff right out! ;) :p :D

(Why did Buck celebrate 40 years in both 2003 and 2004???)

Well, generally, Registered Users at BladeForums cannot either send or receive PMs, and, my listed e-mail address works just fine. I might not check it all of the time, and names that I don't recognize may not receive the fastest response, but, it is available.

Sorry I'f I've missed or overlooked an e-mail, chickentrax! :(

Etchings...don't need no stinking etchings:D   :D.

Trax, I'm thinking that it might be similar to the 100 year 110s that have different date stamps. My understanding is that at the beginning of a "run" some parts(blades) might not belong to that year of issue, the same for at the end. That is why a 100 year 110 could have a 2001 date stamp w/ insert, an 2002(anvil) date stamp w/ insert and a 2003 date stamp w/ insert.

Joe H. has said that they tried a T stamp on the back of a 110 year 110...didn't like it yet thousands? were put in production and shipped to dealers. He must know that it will drive some of us nucking futs and is sitting there in his plush office ROFLHAO:D :D :D. Preston

Sorry, I'm not so 'comfuter' literate:o.

I didn't check the options in my user CP to receive e-mail when I subcribed. Me and high tech:jerkit:.

I had already posted in the support forum that I couldn't receive e-mail and asked WHAT could be wrong:rolleyes:. Just when back and accepted all blame. Should work now:). Preston
