Among several knives I bought this week I got this one.I'd seen the picture at Larrys collectors site but never saw one in person. It's a well made, good looking knife. It is stamped SS and Mr. Clemente says it is stainless. It has a different grind on the blade than most knives of that time. Also according to Mr. Clemente it was only made from1971 to 1973.If anyone has a picture of the sheath for one please post. This one didn't have one and I'd like to know if it had the flat or fold over sheath. Thanks Arnold

Arnold,
Did you get a set of pictures from robert with the book? He has a 41OT with the sheath. Flat with a snap strap.
I put one up on my display space for ya.

Congradulations on the find - I'm drooling over your photos, as the 41OT has so far escaped me. Where'd you find it? And has it been used?

-Bob

I got it on Ebay.I don't think its ever been used or sharpened. There are no marks or scratches on the blade. The pommel and shield have a tiny bit of oxidation or this knife would be mint.

Larry,I just got my second 41OT and it is stamped SS as is the first. Also my Craftsman that is this pattern. As I was reading Mr.Clementes comments on this knife I noticed he said they have a polished, glazed finish.Do you find that to be the case.I thought they called this finish a crocus finish.Just trying to get this finish stuff straight in my head.Arnold

Ive noticed that several other brand of knives in the past have used that lower bolster/lower handle style. I love that look. Shes a real beaut...congrats.-Joel
