Holy Hannah that's for a big roller skate! It's in my neighborhood, but I'd have no clue how to move it much less forge it. It would be pretty bad-ass just to have sitting around the shop though :)

Anybody in the area who could figure out how to cut it wanna go halfzies? :)

Perhaps you could then fabricate a little blacksmith with a hammer striking to set on top as if he were forging it.... :)

Are you sure that it is 52100? From what I can see, the page that indicates that the inner ring is 52100 is for an SKF spherical bearing. The pictures are of an FAG cylindrical bearing. Depending on what the application for that bearing was, it's possible that the cylindrical bearing is a case carburized bearing and would be of a low carbon steel and therefore "not suitable" for knife material.

I work for Timken bearing, so I don't know the specifications for SKF or FAG product. I'd be a little leary of the FAG cylindrical. The SKF is most likely all 52100 though.

Scott this is what the item description pulls up
MATT MATERIAL STEEL COMP E52100 INNER RING
MATT MATERIAL STEEL COMP E52100 LOADING GROOVE SIDE
MATT MATERIAL STEEL COMP E52100 ROLLER
I assumed the roller would be the bearing but I do defer to your
professional opinon.

I'm using one of those cylinders (mines about 3" diameter by about 9" tall) for a bench anvil. Works great.
