42 warning!

Well I got my 42 Saturday and have a warning for everyone!

Check your knife carefully!

I picked mine up and found a hairline crack in the handle that looked like the pin went in crooked.

It was so small that I doubt anyone would have seen it unless checking VERRY closely.

I returned it with no hassle and I am incredibly pleased with it. The sheath on the other hand as most of you know still sucks!
 
I had a washer between the handle and blade missing on mine. Still waiting for it's return from Benchmade
 
From what I hear, just little things have been wrong so far.

I think that they just were too swamped with orders to begin with, and then the problems they had with the handles set them back even more.

With this much of a rush some problems are bound to slip through…
Still an excellent quality product in my opinion!
 
I got mine about a month ago. Exceptional quality, and tons better than my very old Bali-High from early eighties.

Benchmade tends to be hit or miss on quality, but handle returns and warranty issues like pros.
