Just haven't seen a release date for the basic version and my searches and skimming didn't turn one up either.

Anyone know when?

We are working a little faster than that, we should be shipping the standard EDC in 420HC by the first of March, and the 154CM version by mid April. That is if everything goes as planned! I'll keep everybody up to date here on the CAMILLUS forum.
