I just got the 4300 CLA and if it isn't just the greatest folder ever made. Wow! Anyone else share my feelings?
It's everything I've ever wanted in a folder. Very impressed and happy.

Absolutely in agreement! I picked mine up last summer and its been my daily carry since. I like it so much that it's the knife I compare prospective purchases against. It's more substantial in hand than a 940, smaller in pocket than a 580 or full-size Grip, and has fantastic ergonomics and cutting geometry for my needs.

If Benchmade cloned the 4300 in a standard Axis-lock, then either dropped the price (with 154CM) or upgraded the steel, I'd buy that knife in an instant! We'll see how close the 698 comes - my primary concern is that the handle will feel a touch on the short side...

Here's mine with its weekend/work buddy:

It's one of my favorites as well. I've had the 4300-1 for a few weeks now and carry it often.

Agreed, it's a great knife. I sold my customized Emerson because the 4300 pushed it out of my pocket.

My first auto, too. While I carry it a lot, I wish the scales weren't so smooth and the lock is really unnecessary. That said, it's a lot of blade (and nice shape), very light, and a deep carry clip.

I've had the 4300SBK for about six months. I'm pretty happy with it. It goes to work with me during the week and I carry a 710-1401 on the weekends. Its a handy little knife with a lot of blade for its size.
