440A in Native???

Got my SMKW X-mas catalog today, and 'lo and behold, there are some "production run" Spyderco Natives in 440A at a good price. I knew the Native came in GIN1 (once upon a time) and 440V. But 440A??? Both the description and the photograph of the blade list 440A as the steel.

I know that 440A varies widely in quality, depending (especially) on the heat treat. Anybody familiar with any Spyderco 440A?

I was thinking it might make a good tackle box knife since 440A is so rust resistant. The price is definitely right at $21.99.

I would check out this thread before you buy that knife. Here's a thread a couple of weeks ago concerning those "BRK" knives.
