A brand new Bucklite 442 from 2004 weighs only 2.34 ounces and measures just under 7.5 inches overall when open. The black textured grip has outstanding ergonomics in the forward and reverse grip positions. No nail nick and no thumb stud makes for clean blade lines and easy cleaning. Tip down only pocket clip orientation but the clip can be relocated to the reverse side of the handle for lefties (note that clip screw had a convenient philips head). Flawless lock back function and working self-close. Made in the USA.

I think pocket knives are as wholesome as summer wheat and perfect flat skipping stones. I really do. Thank you for looking.

Nice pics Oregon:thumbup:
I recently picked up a NIB 442 with the same date code...
I really like the blade shape on those:)

I just bought this same knife two days ago at a local hardware store. It was the last display model but I was happy to get it. I really like this style and how light it is. I ended up taking off the clip cause I just like the feel and how it sits in my pocket better without it. Thanks for the pictures.

The BUCK legacy knives offer kicks that continue to surprise and delight me year after year.

I swore a great oath years ago that I would never carry a smaller pocket knife, only large do-all blades for my limited pocket space.

To the contrary, today I EDC a Bucklite 424 (Canadian Tire rebirth of a folder out of production for 10 years). One of my favorites of all time. The Bucklite product line is the bomb.

Excellent choice Scott. Way to go.

This generation of the bucklites is also my favorite, I wish they made these with the Orange handle also.

The 442 Bucklite was my first Buck knife ever. It was bought in response to a friend of mine showing me his Spyderco Worker. I decided I wanted a knife with a pocket clip too, but the 442 was the only quality one I could find in my price range. I wish I knew what happened to that one, I've been missing it lately..

where would i be able to get a pocket clip for mine?
i picked it up and noticed the pocket clip was missing?
nice lil knife, but that would keep me from losing it,
