I saw a mount for a reflex sight that allows it to be mounted at a 45 degree angle between two rails on a 4 rail m1913 front end, anyone know what I am talking about?

I've seen some, but none that are very low profile.
I don't remember where I've seen them, there should be a few on CTD and MidwayUSA. Check under sight mounts and AR-15 crap

I ended up ordering a Dainel defense 1 oclock rail that I think will do what I need it to.

Sounds like an offset rail commonly used for lights or a second optic. Yankee Hill makes some in different sizes. I'd like to set up one of my ARs like that one day.

That is exactly how I am going to set mine up, that is a daniel defense 1oclock offset rail, I have the rail in transit and I just need the 1913 mount for my Trijicon RMR dual ilum

Those type of red dot optics are meant to be used with both eyes open. Firing from the weak side would not be a problem.

those are for legit tactical senarios when hajj sneaks up on your position and you must engage targets at close range. i admit fully that they look kick ass but i couldnt justify the cost of doing that sort of setup
