On 10/10/02 we had 2,000 posts to go.
On 10/20/02 we had - 837 posts to go.
On 10/22/02 we're down to 424 left.

Remember, a free M43 is up for the guy who guesses right on the date/time of 30,739th post ( which added to the HI archives, makes 100,000 posts for HI, the 2nd most popular on forum on bladeforums, after the General Discussion forum.

Edit to correct previous statement, we are guessing time and date the forum hits 100,000 posts ( archived plus active ) which will be post # whatever I said.
 
Based on what Uncle said in the original thread, I thought it was guessing when "We'd pass through 100,000 posts" not Who would make "The" 100,000 post. If that were the case, why would we have had to guess when it would happen-- that info wouldn't be necessary.

Please clarify what the true parameters of the contest are.

Somebody has already won. We just don't know who -- and I'm sold out of M43s so there may be a delay in getting the winner his prize.

I'm one of those number-crunchin types...just can't get enough of it. I eat this stuff for breakfast...

Here's an example of the depth of my nerdiness...

As a teen in HS who often fell asleep in math class out of sheer boredom, I decided that in order to keep myself attentive in class I would memorize the square roots of the numbers 1 - 20 down to 9 decimal places.

The scary part is that I actually did it. I can still remember some of them.
