470 Leather Sheath?

Anyone know which (if any) current Buck leather sheath is compatable with the model 470 fixed blade?

I went back thru 12 years of Buck catalogs and didn't find it. The Diamondback was the closest, model 471 and it has a heavy nylon sheath. DM

The Mentor was offered about in 98. I only recall a nylon sheath being offered with it. Heabbie did a replacement of the handle on one sometime back. Perhaps you can find that topic and gain some info.. Or have one of our custom sheath makers build you one. Seems like that was a 5" blade. Try a 105 and 119 sheath. DM

It came out in 1994 and was offered with a black ABS plastic sheath with nylon belt loop. I doubt that sheath is still available. Perhaps a leather snoopy style 105 sheath will work. DM

Mine has the 1999 date code. Sheath is all plastic. I had to pop rivet the back half of the plastic belt loop back on.
I never liked plastic sheaths.

The Wood handled Mentor came with a burgundy leather sheath. (c.1997)
