Here's my Buck knife for Friday... It's a 475 Cutout Sun Bleached Elk Stag Mentor... I got this one a few days ago... It's a sweet one... :thumbup:

Nice score Armand,

That is only the second one of those I have ever seen. I got the other one from Larry O. It's in last weeks SPS....you have got to love that sun bleached Elk!

Hi Armand,

There is a boat load of the Sambar stag, W/Deer cutout as there were 3965 of them made. When Larry offered me the sun bleached Elk, W/Elk cutout, he said he was not sure but it could be a proto for a project that did not go forward as he had never seen them before. Now we know that there are at least two of them.....very cool.

I've been looking for another 475 with stag and a blade cutout to fill a void in my 475 display stand:o. I have no idea if there is another out there to be had, I keep looking and have not seen one yet. Your non-cutout 475 is the only other stag 475 I have seen, were did you find that one? Let me know if you find another one or a different stag cutout 475. Keep those cool Buck knife photo's coming....I love to see them!

John, the guy I got this elk one from was a friend of Chuck Buck... That's what he said anyway... My son and his wife got one that you need, I think.... I wanted it... I try to pick it but I could only get this one... I'll try and get a pic of it and e-mail it to you... I did try to call you a few times to tell you about them and some other knives that we got... ITE ... :D
 
I guess they didn't come with a box or paper work... Does anyone else have one like this... Maybe these are rare... I really like the one I got... ITE ... :thumbup:
 
May be that this knife (475EP) has the blade that is mounted in your knife.
Roundabout 3000 were made.

The other picture shows the 475 Deer Profile (475DP). Near 4000 were made
