480 Layer piece of Damascus I made :)

this is the 480 Layer piece of Damascus I made at the Necka Hammer-in
I still have a lot of work to do to the
Walrus Ivory the cracks were there.

Nickel, 1095, Bandsaw Blade (L6?) and a little 1084
Guard is Brass and Damascus
blade 3 1/4" OAL 7"
both edges top and bottom hollow ground on a 4" wheel :)

and I'm thinking a Damascus filed butt Cap.:)
should I make a door stop out of it?

wow that looks awesome.... i'd like a new doorstop.... (hint hint hint) hahaha.... thats a really nice design Dan. bet you can't wait for a press now!

Very nice indeed! Love the way the pattern combines with the grind lines, and the handle realy sets it off, very eye catching!

You got to thank HammerHead for putting the billet together for you, with out his effort that pattern wouldn't of been attained. Nah!! forget it, he is still a greenhorn.:confused: :confused: ;) :D
