100 db. whistle: 6.6mm x 6.6mm x 49.5mm 0.2 oz.

120 db. whistle: 15mm x 8mm x 42mm 0.4 oz.

I'm not one who insists on titanium when a cheaper material will do. I only got the $20 100 db whistle because I had a gift voucher I didn't know what to do with. As for the $40 120 db titanium whistle— The plastic Tops Knives whistle is supposed to be 120 db, has a low pitch, is compact enough for a keychain, and can be had for under $4.

I carry the Fox 40 micro daily, but could go for the the $20 flavor because its so small on the keychain. The Fox 40 micro is not gigantic, but it is sorta fat for keychain carry. Smaller is better when it comes to EDC, as long as utility is retained. Thats how I ride. :thumbup:

I know I have some hearing loss in the 4000 Hz range from 30 years of recreational shooting, but a plain old nickeled brass referee whistle seems louder than my Fox 40 or TOPS 3 chamber one...doesn't look that too much out of place on a key chain...I do carry my keys on a belt clip and not in my pocket however...
