I'll be there. It will be my first time at something like this. I'm looking forward to it.

Yes, you have to bring Wade. Bring your own painkillers this time, if you are going to be nervous about the quality of your knives. I'm still surprised that you passed your test knife...I was sure that it would break. LOL... you were one nervous nelly!! Will we be able to see some your submission knives?

if all goes well no you won't i will have passed and sold all the blades at atlanta. i do have one about done for you in trade for helping me get calmed down for the test though. I talked to Rodebaugh and he said pink g10 is what you would like for handle material?:D

All kidding aside if anyone has ever even considered going to a hammerin/micro show this is the one. Call Josh and get signed up. As a maker you get to meet some of the top names in the field and they have all been great as far as being willing to help out and teach stuff outside of the scheduled hammerin hours. Not to mention getting to meet some of the greatest collectors out there. It to me is one of the greatest little gatherings there is around i get to meet people that normally don't have time at the big shows to come see what i have and Josh puts on one heckuva hammerin. Last year we had Harvey Dean, Rick Eaton, Larry Fueggen, Tim Hancock, Rick Dunkerly, Josh Smith, SHane Taylor, Wade colter, Jon Christenson, Tom Ferry, Ed Caffrey, Henry Torres, Bill Burke, that is allot of Mastersmith talent at one location and i was able to visit with each and everyone of them at one point or another. I am sure i missed somebody but you get the idea of the talent that attends. And this thing has gotten better every year.

I am hoping to go this year but my wife is due to have a baby just two weeks later so it kinda depends on how things go with her.

This has become a must attend event for me. Besides, how could I possibly miss an event with Josh Smith, Larry Fuegen, Don Fogg, Harvey Dean, Owen Wood, John Young, Wolfgang Loerchner, Wade Colter and all the other top knifemakers that will be there.

I look forward to having you all here. Recently I sent invitations out for the private show the night before and I am receiving a great response. This should bode well for the makers on the weekend as well. I hope to host a bladesmithing conference with incredible instruction along with a great group of collectors in attendance. I hope this will continue to compound itself into a top knife event to attend.

Thanks for all of your support.
