Hey friends! Finished up two these Oregonto kwaikens before I get back to orders and took a couple glamour shots. These are my 4" blade, 4" handle version. This size this is really nice for EDC, either carried IWB or slipped in your pocket.
Both of these are done in CPM20cv.
CPM20cv is a high end, powder steel with excellent corrosion resistance, edge retention and wear resistance. I do my own heat treat for optimal performance of the steel and intended use. This includes Hardening in an electronically controlled kiln and Liquid nitrogen Cryo.

The red one is chisel ground. The other is double ground and has some very nice natural colored stingray, and dark brown Ito to match the Brown bison wrapped Hartsfield style sheath.

The natutal/brown color combo one stopped my heart for a second or two!

Both fantastic, but those are my colors!

Funny...

When I saw the shots of the brown one on my phone yesterday, it really turned me off.

Now, on a bigger screen, it's really working for me. Go figure!!! Really goes nicely with the sheath. Sweet, man!

Thanks buddy. Yeah, it's a bit different from the norm. Kind of a coffee and cream look. I can't make them all black! :D
