Here is a trail kitchen knife idea. Basically a traditional style utility knife. Designed this for a steak knife project and thought I’d make one in this configuration before jumping into that project.

Thin enough to be a kitchen utility and hearty enough to have in hunting pack to help break down some big game if needed.











 
Change of sheath plans. This one is now headed to Africa to take part in guided hunts. So a more robust sheath is in order.

Handy in the kitchen at the house, handy in the kitchen at the tent. Standard kitchen petty "do it all" size. I have several Japanese petty knives this size and use them A LOT.

Nice work, and that handle is beautiful both in appearance and profile.
